Morrison didn't shut down suggestions that Albion are looking to sign a striker on Tuesday morning.
However, with considerable money spent this summer and given how late in the window it is, this feels more unlikely to happen at this stage.
That feeling has been made even greater after an update from Telegraph reporter Dominic King via X.
He claims that Danns will stay at Liverpool beyond this summer window, as he hopes to make an impression on manager Andoni Iraola.
As a result, that will rule out a move to The Hawthorns for the 20-year-old striker.

Danns is a player that he been linked with a move to West Brom before.
Albion were reportedly keen on signing Danns in January last year, before he ultimately joined Sunderland on loan instead.
West Brom site EyaWeGew had claimed on X earlier today that Albion had made enquiries to Liverpool over a potential loan deal for him.
So, if the Baggies are to welcome another centre-forward into their ranks before 11pm, it will have to be someone other than Danns.
