And despite Collyer looking likely to join from Manchester United, a last-minute move from elsewhere could leave them disappointed.

Hull City have done just that for the midfielder.
Alex Crook has reported on X for talkSPORT that Collyer was "set to join" West Brom this week.
Now, Hull have made their move with interest and it sounds very likely that it will be successful.
Collyer impressed for Michael Carrick and Man United in pre-season, but isn't set for a chance at Old Trafford.
Only one outcome for West Brom now
Weirdly, Collyer has spent time on loan at both the Baggies and Hull.
But after the Tigers unlikely promotion to the Premier League, they immediately get the upperhand in negotiations like these.
Thankfully, it may not hit West Brom too hard.
Morrison has already welcomed Felix Horn Myhre and Rabby Nzingoula this summer, and both have impressed.
Having sold Alex Mowatt to Derby, those two join Ousmane Diakite and Jayson Molumby already in midfield.
That could be enough, but it's great to see the Albion ambitious and wanting to add these young proven Premier League talents to their ranks.
Morrison has specifically mentioned wanting more wingers, so attention could soon switch to that.
The one thing that West Brom don't exactly have on their side is time, with only one week to go in the window.
If Collyer does move to Hull as expected, it's critical not to panic and move onto other targets and make sure smart business is done.
After such a good start, it must be built on, not wasted.
