West Bromwich Albion are in a multi-club Championship transfer race for Celtic striker Johnny Kenny.
James Morrison has already added a couple of new strikers to his West Brom squad this summer.
However, with Barney Stewart not quite hitting the ground running, Albion may need another to shore up their forward line depth.
West Brom chiefs are spinning plates ahead of the 11pm deadline to try and add one or two more players to the squad.
But if they are to sign Kenny, they're going to have to fend off some strong competition.

Morrison didn't shut down suggestions West Brom are looking to sign a striker when asked as such on Tuesday morning.
Albion's desire to add another player in this department has only been made to look even stronger now as well.
Irish reporter Daniel McDonnell claims via X that Kenny is expected to leave Celtic on a permanent basis at some point today.
Bolton Wanderers, Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers and West Brom are all explicitly named as being in for the 23-year-old.
McDonnell claims that Bolton were the presumed favourites given the Ireland international spent the second half of last term on loan there.
However, he claims that it's Preston who are currently showing a "very strong" interest in signing the Celtic talent.
So, how strong a year was 2025-26 for Kenny, and did it suggest he'd be an instant impact-maker at West Brom?
How many goals did Kenny score in 2025-26?
As aforementioned, Kenny spent the final few months of last season on loan in League One with Bolton.
There he scored six goals and provided three assists in 14 league games, thus playing a big part in Wanderers' promotion to the Championship.
Prior to that, he played 22 times for Celtic during the first half of 2025-26.
From those appearances, in all competitions, he netted six times and chipped in with two assists.
Therefore, after a 12-goal campaign last season, Kenny will be confident of carrying on his good form wherever he lands.
