Jamal Jimoh-Aloba posts mysterious message – could be swipe at West Brom or Aston Villa
Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba may have hit out at West Bromwich Albion after his loan spell.
The 19-year-old completed a Hawthorns return in January as he was brought in with the hope of helping the Baggies avoid relegation.
He hardly played after his move from Aston Villa and largely watched on from the bench as James Morrison’s side stayed in the Championship.
That marked the end of the England under-20 international’s temporary stint back in the Black Country.
Jimoh-Aloba has since gone back to Aston Villa, where he has shared a new social media post that could be taken as a dig at B71 or B6.

Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba shares strange social media post
There isn’t really too much to say about the attacking midfielder and his stint at The Hawthorns.
Minutes came at a premium, and he wasn’t really able to impress when given the chance to feature in the Championship.
| Stat (Championship 25/26) | Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba |
| Appearances | 10 |
| Minutes played | 350 |
| Goals | 0 |

The end of the season was always going to see him return to the claret and blue side of the Midlands, regardless of his performance level.
He has continued to post images of himself associated with the Baggies, but his latest post raises plenty of questions.
The Englishman posted to his Instagram story on Thursday to promote his feed post that features an image of himself playing for Albion.
The strange part is the song that accompanies the story, a track by American artist Hunxho titled, Not One Of Them.

That feels like a measured element of this post that could aim a dig at his parent club or loan destination.
Jimoh-Aloba has now returned to Villa after his B71 loan, but maybe he thinks he doesn’t belong at Bodymoor Heath?
Is Jimoh-Aloba taking a shot at West Brom or Aston Villa?
A post featuring the youngster in a West Brom shirt with a song of that title, maybe points towards him being against the Villans.
Saying “I’m not one of them” suggests he may see The Hawthorns as his home rather than Villa Park after his academy move in 2023.
It could also be taken as a direct swipe at the Baggies, suggesting that he wants to go back to B6 because he isn’t a West Brom player anymore.
That plays into his recent antics after he was spotted out in Istanbul starting chants in the days before Villa won the Europa League.
The only other way to take the post is to assume he just likes the song and paired it with his social media post, but it feels more deliberate than a coincidence.
