West Brom learn outcome of Tommy Watson transfer chase as loan deal agreed
West Bromwich Albion have been named as a club interested in signing Tommy Watson this summer.
Albion are in the market for more forwards despite initial additions early on in the window.
The likes of Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have joined the club on long-term contracts, but more forward additions are expected.
Watson has been named as someone on the Baggies' radar, with Morrison clearly keen to work and improve young talent.
The Brighton winger joined from Sunderland over a year ago, shortly before netting a play-off final winner for the Black Cats, which sent them to the Premier League.
West Brom have now learned of Watson's decision, as a host of clubs were in for his signature this summer.

The 20-year-old's camp wanted to make sure he moved to a club that could help his confidence and give him game time after an underwhelming short stint with Millwall in the second half of last season.
Despite interest from the Black Country Club, it appears Watson, his camp and Brighton have decided that League One side Leicester City is the best destination for him to move to.
Transfer correspondent for Football Insider, Peter O'Rourke, has reported that the winger is set to join the Foxes with a loan deal now agreed.
It's not known how much of a blow this will serve to be for Albion, though there are other talking points around this move that affect the Baggies.
What could make West Brom forget Watson's decision?
Local West Brom journalists had even suggested Watson would be a smart player to try to sign before interest was reported.
But nothing was reported to say anything was advanced between the Baggies and the player, nor that he was a top target.
Mikey Johnston's expected return to fitness will serve as a major boost for Morrison, who is likely to play with two wide midfielders once more next season.
However, it's clear that the Baggies need more depth out wide, with Johnston still a liability in regard to his fitness.
West Brom could look to sign Chiedozie Ogbene from Ipswich Town, as the Tractor Boys are ready to sanction his loan exit, with Championship interest rife.
Albion have previously tried to sign the Republic of Ireland international, and could move for the winger once more this summer after Watson's decision to join Leicester.
